Is there applicant history that could delay or halt the
underwriting process? To make certain that you are not dealing with fraud
or an uninsurable situation, we created LifePlus™.What do you get
with LifePlus? LifePlus provides a variety of fraud detection services.
Results can be available to you immediately on-line or within 24 hours via
batch processing. These include:
- Subject I.D. information
— obtained from the applicant’s credit record. It includes
verification of SSN, date of birth, name, former name, AKA name, current
address and up to two former addresses. It will also provide information
on bankruptcies, tax liens, suits and judgments.
- Fraud Alert System —
issues a warning that the SSN or address has been associated with fraudulent
activity, or if an address is not a residence, e.g., prison, hotel,
campground.
- Employment information
— provides current and up to two former employers. Includes applicant’s
position, name of firm and city/state.
- Driver history —
obtained from a national database of MVR violations from 36 states for
the past two years. Includes driver’s license information and
violations.
- Medical sources
— obtained from completed APS reports. Includes clinic or physician
name, address, phone and date completed.
Underwriters too busy to review each LifePlus Report?No
problem. LabOne can apply your underwriting guidelines, score
the LifePlus for you, and send you a “clear” or “not
clear” message. Then, your Underwriters need only review the “not
clear” reports.
